Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
CloudRay Inc ("CloudRay", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains
the personal information we process through our website, business communications, consulting and
staffing services, and recruitment activities, along with the choices available to you.
This policy applies when CloudRay controls how and why personal information is processed. A client,
recruiting platform, or other third party may provide a separate notice when it controls the processing.
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to contact@cloudrayinc.com.
Information you provide
When you contact or communicate with CloudRay, we may receive your name, email address, phone
number, company, job title, service interest, subject, message, correspondence, and any other
information you choose to provide. We may also maintain records of our relationship and prior
inquiries so we can respond, route requests, provide services, and manage business relationships.
Recruiting and staffing information
When you apply for a role or work with our recruiting team, we may process information provided by
you, referrals, recruiting platforms, clients, professional networks, or other lawful sources,
including your resume or CV, contact details, education, employment
history, skills, certifications, availability, role and location preferences, compensation
expectations, and work-authorization information. We use it to assess applications, communicate
with you, match candidates with opportunities, and administer recruiting and staffing activities.
Hiring and onboarding information
Where relevant to a role, permitted by law, and supported by appropriate notice or authorization,
CloudRay or an authorized provider may process identity or government-issued identification,
background or credential-check results, drug-screen results, limited health or accommodation
information, demographic or equal-opportunity information, and payroll, tax, payment, or bank
details. These categories are not collected through the general website contact form and are used
only for applicable recruiting, onboarding, employment, compliance, or payment purposes.
Information collected automatically
Hosting and security systems may record technical and site-activity information such as IP address,
browser and device type, date and time, referring or requested page, navigation events, and error
information. We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and
to investigate suspected fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
Cookies, preferences, and analytics
The website uses essential browser storage to remember preferences such as region selection and
cookie consent. This website build does not include an optional analytics or advertising tag.
Embedded or linked third-party services, including recruiting platforms, may apply their own
cookies or similar technologies under their policies. See our
Cookie Policy for details.
How we use information
We process personal information with consent or as otherwise permitted or required by applicable
law for the following purposes:
- Respond to inquiries, communicate with you, and provide requested information or services.
- Route and manage consulting, staffing, partnership, and recruiting requests.
- Evaluate candidates, match them with roles, and support hiring, onboarding, and placement.
- Maintain business records, improve services, and create aggregate or de-identified statistics.
- Send relevant business or marketing communications where permitted and honor opt-out requests.
- Operate and protect the website, prevent fraud or abuse, and investigate security incidents.
- Meet contractual, legal, accounting, compliance, dispute-resolution, and safety obligations.
When information is shared
We may share information as needed with CloudRay teams; clients or prospective clients considering
a candidate or service engagement; business partners involved in a requested engagement; and
vendors that support hosting, communications, security, recruiting, screening, payroll, payment,
or other operations. Recruitment may involve Zoho Recruit, JobDiva, LinkedIn, or other platforms,
which also publish their own privacy terms. We may disclose information to government authorities
or other parties when required by law, to establish or defend legal claims, protect rights and
safety, investigate misconduct, complete a business transfer, or for another purpose described to
you when the information is collected.
Communications and your choices
You may opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe instructions in the message or by
contacting us. If you consent to SMS messages, message frequency may vary and message and data
rates may apply. Reply STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, OPT OUT, or UNSUBSCRIBE to opt out, and HELP
for help. You may opt in again through a CloudRay form or, where supported, by replying START or
SUBSCRIBE. The US online contact form requires consent to inquiry-related SMS messages; you may
contact CloudRay by email or phone instead. Marketing SMS consent, where separately requested, is
optional and is not a condition of receiving services. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not
shared with affiliates or third parties
for their own marketing purposes; providers may process them only to deliver CloudRay messages.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may ask to access, correct,
update, or delete personal information we hold, obtain information about its processing, withdraw
consent for optional processing, or raise a grievance. Where applicable, you may also nominate
another person to exercise eligible rights in the event of death or incapacity. Contact
contact@cloudrayinc.com to make a request. We may need
to verify your identity before responding. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already
completed and may prevent us from providing a requested optional service. If a grievance remains
unresolved, you may use any complaint process available from the competent data-protection authority.
External recruiting platforms provide their own account and privacy controls.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected and for
legitimate business, contractual, legal, accounting, compliance, dispute-resolution, and security
needs. Retention periods vary by the type of record and applicable requirements. We use reasonable
administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage
system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We respond to personal-data breaches and provide
legally required notifications where applicable.
Children's privacy
The website and CloudRay's business and recruiting services are not directed to children under 13,
and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through this website. Please contact us
if you believe a child has submitted personal information.
International processing
CloudRay teams and service providers may process information in India, the United States, and other
locations where they operate. Privacy and data-protection laws may differ between these locations.
CloudRay handles information in accordance with applicable requirements and this policy.
